CaféDirect
Cafédirect sources all of its coffee directly from smallholder growers who work in harmony with nature, with real attention and care, using skills passed down through generations.
Those smallholders often farm in remote communities and they are also the most vulnerable to risks, like climate change.
Peru is one of the top three countries in the world most affected by climate change – and the livelihood of small-scale coffee farmers there is increasingly at risk.
Cafédirect has been working in partnership with its growers to understand and help them tackle the changing weather patterns and the impact that is having on their harvest and yield, resulting in innovative solutions that provide a model for others to follow suit.
We are proud to be working on a project organising a press trip to Peru to promote what makes Cafédirect different, demonstrating the impact it is having to help small producers around the world adapt to climate change.
