Matilda Lee
Matilda is an environmental journalist and writer. She has been an editor at the Ecologist for eight years. In 2006 she launched the magazine’s ‘Green Pages’, covering food, wine, fashion, home, parenting and health. Currently she is the Ecologist’s Community Affairs Editor, principally involved in profiling campaign groups and local initiatives aimed at improving community environments.
In 2007, she wrote Eco Chic: the Savvy Shopper’s Guide to Ethical Fashion, an in-depth look at the fashion industry and the making, selling, wearing and disposing of our clothes.
She was the editor of London Fashion Week’s Estethica guide to ethical fashion from 2006 to 2009. The Estethica exhibition is a platform for talented fashion designers to showcase pioneering, ethically made fashion designs. The exhibition is co-curated by Orsola de Castro, Filippo Ricci and the British Fashion Council.
