Greenhouse PR highly commended at BusinessGreen Leaders Awards

On Wednesday Greenhouse PR was highly commended for its contribution to the green economy in the ‘PR Company of the Year’ category at the BusinessGreen Leaders Awards. For five years in a row, Greenhouse PR has either won or been highly commended by BusinessGreen for the high impact results that we deliver for our clients.

Last year was a fantastic year, with more than 30 change-making campaigns delivering outstanding results for our clients. We were also proud to become a B Corp, embedding our mission into the DNA of the company, and joining a community committed to delivering change.

We were delighted to see some of our clients winning or being highly commended last night, including:

Carbon Tracker – Winner of ‘NGO of the Year’

CNG Fuels – Highly commended in ‘Green Transport Project of the Year’

Hubbub – Winner of ‘Marketing/Advertising Campaign of the Year’

SmartestEnergy – Highly commended in ‘Renewable Energy Project of the Year’

Some of the highlights of our campaigns from 2016/17 include:

  • We supported Carbon Tracker on the global launch of a landmark joint report with the Grantham Institute, creating a compelling narrative about electric vehicles and solar PV. Anthony Hobley, CEO, described the results we generated as ‘phenomenal’ and said that Greenhouse totally exceeded expectations.
  • We worked with Moixa to show how home batteries could save millions and help create a cost-effective, low-carbon smart energy system. According to Simon Daniel, Founder and CEO of Moixa, “working with Greenhouse created communications focus and momentum, resulting in a significant increase in interest from investors, partners and customers.”
  • We launched the UK’s first 100% renewable biomethane gas fuel for CNG Fuels, demonstrating that biomethane is a commercially viable way to decarbonise HGV fleets across the UK. CEO, Philip Fjeld, said: “The integrated and considered approach from Greenhouse PR has created outstanding results and interest from new customers.”
  • We launched a digital campaign highlighting that consumers can choose between ‘good’ and ‘bad’ palm oil with the Roundtable on Sustainable Palm Oil, reaching an audience of 10.2 million globally. Director of Engagement at RSPO, Danielle Morley commented: “Greenhouse strategically planned and executed a powerful digital campaign and their insight was invaluable.”

Lastly, thank you to all those who contribute to our successes, from clients, to collaborators and to staff. We had such a great time at the awards last night – highlights included moments on the dance floor with new found friends and an inspirational speech from one of our eco-heroes, Christiana Figueres.
