The Sustainable Innovation Forum, jointly organised by Climate Action and the UN Environment Programme, was the largest business-focussed event during COP21 in Paris.

Two weeks before the launch of COP, Greenhouse was appointed to raise the profile of SIF 2015, build awareness of role of business to drive innovation for sustainability, and manage a global press office for event, generating media coverage of the event and sponsors.


Identified international VIP journalists to invite to SIF15, and reached out with details of key participants and stories from more than 80 business leaders, entrepreneurs, government ministers, bankers and thought leaders speaking at the event.
Developed a briefing pack to help journalists make the most of the event, with factsheets on different stories of leading businesses pioneering sustainable innovation at the event.

Organised press conference and high-profile interviews at the beginning of the first day to set the agenda, hosted by Achim Steiner, Executive Director of UNEP and Nick Henry, Founder of Climate Action, with key business innovators.

Presence at the event to facilitate media access to stories and spokespeople including the US Secretary of Energy and President of Iceland and more than 30 business leaders pioneering sustainable innovation.


Secured attendance of over 90 international journalists at an event away from the main COP venue at a time of high competition for media attention, in under two weeks.

Set up over 70 media interviews with diplomats, government leaders and business innovation brands across two days.
Generated more than 50 pieces of high profile international coverage in the immediate aftermath including China, Russia, the US, Australia and Singapore.

Reached BBC, Sky Business News, Reuters, Bloomberg, Wall Street Online, Forbes, Huffington Post, China Post and the Daily Mail.

Positive feedback from sponsors and media supported Climate Action and UNEP in planning for next year’s COP.
